only suitable for vehicles which does have installed automatically dimmed interior mirror (PR No.: 4L6)
Not suitable for vehicles with auto dimming interior mirror with part number 3G0 857 511 E
the mirror glasses are additionally required
Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 2 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Highline "5") required for "hinged mirrors" is Highline
To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
Example part number: XXX 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
? = 5 = compatible - door control unit must not be replaced
e.g.: 5Q4959593X / 5Q459592X are suitable, 5Q4959393X / 5Q459392X need to be replaced
In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets
