General information

We aim to bring you the finest and best value parts covering the vast and ever expanding range in the automotive industry. Our Philosophy is to always put the customer first and to do our utmost to ensure we can help you in every way we can.

 

Parts condition

All parts we sell are brand new or in as new condition. To inform you about part condition we state it in the description as: "OEM new" or "refurbished".  Refurbished parts are mostly no longer manufactured and are not available brand new. All our items are genuine OEM parts not aftermarket, unless otherwise stated.

 

Quality Control

Every part we sell has to pass quality control. Every part is inspected before shipping and is 100% functional.

 

Shipping

We dispatch from Czech Republic.  Most orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (usually same or next day). Orders Europe require 1-10 business days for delivery (it depends on shipping company you choose); rest of the world delivery time is 3-21 days. Business Days are Monday to Friday. Weekends and/or holidays are not included is shipment estimations.

 

Customs Import Duties

The buyer is responsible for any import duties or tax relating to a purchase which is made. We do not have access to the import duty rates which relate to a particular Country, nor can we amend Customs or invoice information to suit. Customers refusing to pay the relevant import duty and denying delivery taking place will not be refunded in any instance.

 

Warranty

All parts sold are under 2 years warranty. Replacements will be issued for any non functioning, defective, or incorrect parts. Please check goods for damage on arrival as we cannot refund parts that have been signed for as "received in good condition". These are the rules of the courier company not CarsEquipment.com, we simply cannot make a claim if you have signed for the package without making the driver aware of a problem. If you wish for us to pursue a claim, you would also need to take photos of the packaging and of the damage to the item. We do not anticipate items being damaged as we spend a lot of time and effort parcelling our items with lots of protection to avoid this situation arising.

   

Returns policy

CarsEquipment.com complies with all legal requirements under both the Sale of Goods Act & the Distance Selling Regulations. Returned goods must be returned “UNUSED” AND “UNFITTED” (i.e. in the condition you received them), with the original packaging within 14 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. If an item is considered by the customer to be faulty or damaged upon receipt (& before fitting) please contact us by email. Send it to reklamace@cars-equipment.com or ondrej.sustr@ammedia.cz Return it within 14 days of receipt. We need to have received all relevant parts (whether correct, incorrect or faulty) back at our premises for inspection before we can make the appropriate decision to either replace or refund. Please contact us BEFORE returning any item. It is the customers’ responsibility to send items back via either recorded or special delivery means in order to obtain a tracking number and signature - proof of postage is not the same as proof of delivery. Orders cancelled after dispatch & parts wrongly ordered/ correctly supplied but no longer wanted will be subject to a 20% handling charge/ restocking fee. Please note that all parts are securly marked. Any part returned to us will be checked. Any parts tampered or without security mark will not be refunded and will render any warranties void. Refunds and exchanges are available for 30 days after the item is received.

We advise you check the parts you have ordered before fitting them, once they have been fitted you cannot return them for a refund. If the part is faulty then you will need to provide us with a mechanics report and send it back to us. We will then send it back to the supplier and have it tested for faults. If the fault lies in the part then you will be entitled to a refund, if it turns out it has been fitted incorrectly and the damage was caused through your car then you will not receive a refund. 

 

In the event of a claim for electronic parts (lambda sensors, sensors, units, steering wheel ring etc.), an extract from the diagnostics (fault codes/error messages) is required.

 

Please attacht all documents if you send us the package (invoice + withdrawal form) or we are not able to refund you the money!

 

Installation Instructions

We do supply installation instructions for most parts, but we can't be responsible for any damage to equipment or parts occurred during installation. We will do our absolute best to provide clear installation instructions and support needed.

 

Limitation of Liability

We provide a warranty on mechanical parts and electrical items. However we cannot be held responsible for any errors made by under-qualified mechanics fitting your replacement part. We shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
