Complete set for retrofitting the automatic, electrically folding exterior mirrors for VW ID4 E21
The mirrors can be folded with the driver door adjustment button
Selection of the automatic folding function when closing is done via the CAR menu on the radio
Selectable options:
Left-hand drive vehicles PR no.: L0L
Right-hand drive PR no.: L0R
Scope of Delivery:
2 x outside mirrors
Adjustment knob
coding dongle*
Note:
*At the moment, the respective control unit must be unlocked for a limited time before using the dongle.This must be done by a workshop with valid GEKO access
the lower parts of the outside mirrors are black, the painted mirror caps as well as lenses are taken over
Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 2 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Highline "5") required for "hinged mirrors" is Highline
To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
? = 5 = compatible - door control unit must not be replaced
e.g.: XXX959593X / XXX59592X are suitable, XXX959393X / XXX959392X need to be replaced
In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets
