Interface for clearing the fault memory of the powertrain / charging electronics in Smart vehicles
In case of temporary fault, display in the instrument cluster "Visit workshop" warning Battery cannot be charged anymore (charging port immediately lights up red)
The following reasons can trigger this error message
Removing the charging plug at the wrong moment
Due to undervoltage or empty 12V battery

Simply connect the adapter (dongle) to the OBD interface of the vehicle - Done!

Note:
If the fault memory entry is active, the dongle cannot clear the fault and a workshop visit with repair of the faulty components is required
Additional notices:
The coding dongle is bound to the respective vehicle after initial use. Returning used dongles is not possible. Before using the dongle, please check whether a software update is required using the "Dongle Tool" found HERE
