• Complete set to retrofit the original Audi side assist for Audi Q7 4M
• Intelligent technique for monitoring the traffic behind and beside the vehicle
• Warning of approaching vehicles or vehicles which are floating with the traffic
• The installed radar sensors (left and right site in the rear bumper) monitors the rear area and the area beside the vehicle from a speed of 30 km/h
• The system measures the distance and the different speed between you and the other vehicles
• Indicators in both exterior mirrors alert about critical situations
• incl. rear cross-traffic assistant (in conjunction with visual parking aid, PR no.: 7X2, 7X5)
• Cross traffic assistant can warn of collisions with approaching cross traffic when reversing at speeds of up to 15 km/h
• If the system detects critical cross traffic, a visual and audible warning is given and a short brake jerk is applied

Note:

• Component protection of the control parts must be lifted at the Audi dealer
• From model year 2020, only suitable for vehicles with acc (PR-No.: 8T5 or 8T8)
• The mirror caps are delivered primed, painting required (no aluminum mirror caps are supplied)
• The delivered hardware partly comes from test vehicles and went through a comprehensive functional test. The software is up to date
• Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "Side Assist" is Highline
• To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
  
• Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
  
• Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
• ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 5 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 7 = compatible for retrofitting "Side Assist"
• eg 4M0959793X / 4M0959792X are suitable, 4M0959593X / 4M0959592X are to be replaced
• In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets
• Currently, retrofitting vehicles from Productiondate 14.08.2023 is not possible
