• Complete set for retrofitting the Audi Side Assist for the Audi Q8 4M
• intelligent technology for monitoring the blind spot and the traffic behind the vehicle
• Warning of approaching or floating vehicles in the detection area
• By radar sensors right and left in the rear bumper, the area behind or next to the vehicle is monitored from a speed of 30 km/h
• the system measures the distance and the speed difference to other vehicles
• Indicators in both exterior mirrors warn of critical situations
• incl. Cross Traffic Assistant rear (in conjunction with an optical parking aid, PR no. 7X2, 7X5)
• the Cross Traffic Assistant can warn against collisions with approaching cross traffic when reversing up to 15 km/h
• If the system recognizes critical cross-traffic, a visual and audible warning and a short braking pressure occur

Note:

• Only suitable for vehicles with acc (PR-No.: 8T5 or 8T8)
  
• Component protection of the control parts must be lifted at the Audi dealer
  
• The mirror caps are delivered primed, painting required
• The hardware can partially come from test vehicles and went through a comprehensive function test. The software is up to date
• Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "Side Assist" is Highline
• To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
  
• Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
  
• Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
• ? = 3 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 5 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 7 = compatible for retrofitting "Side Assist"
• eg 4M0959793X / 4M0959792X are suitable, 4M0959593X / 4M0959592X are to be replaced
• In case the ex Factory installed control units are not suitable, you need to use the control units in our "Accessories" area. This ensures that the control unit has correct software and data sets
• Currently, retrofitting vehicles from Productiondate 14.08.2023 is not possible
