• Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 3 different hardware versions of the door control units (Midline "5" - Highline "7") required for "Soft Close" is Highline
• To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics
• Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
• Here is the location of? "Question mark" crucial
• ? = 5 = not compatible - door control unit must be replaced
• ? = 7 = compatible for retrofitting "Soft Close"
• eg 4M1959793X / 4M1959792X are suitable, 4M1959593X / 4M1959592X / 4M1959595X are to be replaced
