The tow bar wouldn’t be complete without the necessary wiring harness, which connects the car’s electrical system with the trailer. The electric components have to be ordered for tow bar 5JJ 092 155 under following number: 5JB 055 204 (for cars without tow bar preparation; for LHD) for Rapid.
When using this set of electrical installation of the towing device, the auxiliary parking system (if it is in the car´s equipment) is not deactivated when selecting the reverse gear with the trailer connected. The tow bar has been manufactured according to approved documentation and complies with ECE E1 55R-012101 homologation.
