Minitools has been studying 3 frequent problems on Fiat 500 and Fiat 500L, and has found the solution for each one of them.
1. The most common is the Fiat 500 or 500L faulty speedometer, where there are missing pixels on the LCD or the illumination and LCD display don’t work leaving the cluster dark.
The solution, for Fiat 500L and Fiat 500 digital dashboards problems repair, is the display’s replacement by using SEI-DISP121 or SEI-DISP122 (to repair Fiat 500L cluster) and SEI-DISP102 (to repair Fiat 500 cluster).
The spare LCD display must have the same code as the original one. It’s very important to notify it to Cars Equipment experts on info@cars-equipment.com before the purchase. You can find the code on a white label placed on the LCD’s flat flex ribbon cable (on Fiat 500) or on the edge of the display (on Fiat 500L). It is composed by numbers and letters, such as: COG-VLIT1229A-01; COG-VLGEM1381-01.
