Mechanical drive locking system is important part of securing your vehicle against theft. Using a lock, installed on a mount connected to the body, you can lock the shifting rod in reverse, so it’s not possible to shift in gear without using a key. The lock is placed from top in the gear stick sleeve, which makes it more accessible for unlocking and visible from outside, so potential unwanted guest knows in advance that it makes no sense to try. The system can be used on all manual transmission. It’s installation must be done by trained professionals at the ŠKODA Authorized partner’s.
