Side door sill covers with backlight are a decorative accessory for your vehicle. They protect the paintwork around the front door sill from dirt. They are NOT designed to be stood on when getting into (or out of) the vehicle.
Side door sill covers with backlight:
- perfectly match the contours of the vehicle sill
- are positioned using templates – order no. 657 071 718
- are held in position using retaining clips and a magnetic strip, which are located on the underside of the door sill covers
- light up for around 30 ± 5 seconds when the doors are opened, then go out
- light up again if the door is closed and opened again, or if the sensor on the side door sill cover (located behind the KAMIQ logo) is covered
- we recommend having the batteries replaced by an authorised ŠKODA AUTO service partner

Fastening: Adhered to the front vehicle door sills (position the foils using the fitting templates). The door sill covers must not be unclipped until at least 48 hours after the bonding procedure is carried out.

Maintenance: Commercially available cleaning agent. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents or scourers.
