For the very unlikely case that trailer slips loose from the tow bar, it is connected to the car by steel safety string. This leads from the trailer to the safety eyelet, fitted to the tow bar. Thanks to this protection, there is no risk of losing the trailer and it is less likely that uncontrolled trailer will cause any damage.
